Premiership - Round 15

O'Shea is contracted to Quins until the end of next season.

................and a contract is worth? If Ireland came a calling (and I am not saying that they would), I do not think a contract would really stop them as an arrangement would be made.......if he wanted to go, would Quins stand in his way? Not sure they would....

I'm not sure he'd jump ship at Quins, to be honest.
You never know until it happens, though.

Tend to agree and IRFU have to determine to not give Kidney another contract first and who says that is likely!!

Don't see why Quins would want to do the IRFU any favours. They've got no more affinity to them the Biarritz have to the RFU.

Normally when a manager is approached and appointed to manage a team, some sort of arrangement is made and the club says that they "would not wish to stand in the way of so so as to manage your country is such an honour"........................I believe that the Chairman of Saints actually said that, if the RFU came for Mallinder (before they appointed Lancaster), they would not stand in his way but that no approach had been made?

Do not think Quins would want to do the IRFU any favours either but if O'Shea, for instance, was approached, and did want to do the job, I have no doubt the contract issue would disappear one way or another..........

Great try by Wade (+Vunipola) - he had no right to get past that defence!

Read between the lines when you hear that sort of stuff. A club being seen to say that sort of stuff is ositive PR and spin. What really goes on when it comes to contract releases is never amicable nor pleasant.

Privately owned businesses never give anything away for free.

Was an excellent try and very entertaining game too..................wish Ashley Rowden would shut up though even if he is right!.....you would think he was the ref!!

I love it when Wade gets involved at the ruck.
He gets cleared out with such ease it's comical, they just swipe him away with one hand and he goes flying.

This is some ending to the match, though - looked like Wasps were well out of reach after Vunipola's try. All over now, though.

Great finish. Reckon they deserved it too.....

You have to give it to Dai Young....he took over when they were losing/lost their best players and had to deal with all the hiatus of the ownership changed but has built an excellent squad (including giving Varndell another chance when many would not). Super...

This. He just chirps his **** all day long. Even if he's often right with calls, he's still interferring too often and its adds an extra pedanticism that just slows it down.

Great game though. Quality game from Asheley Johnson, apart from in the frst Gloucester try.

Be dismissive if you like, but if the IRFU approach Quins over the summer, the only answer they'll get will end in "off".

I think I understand but not sure...................... is it as in, give us £600,000 and he can p... off?!!

Picked up a vital bonus point Welsh, still think it's all for Welsh to lose.

On 22 points it is, but they're doing a remarkably good job of doing so - they've let the others back into it, and given LW must now travel to 4 different HEC place contenders it would be a minor miracle if they finished those matches with their fate still in their own hands.

The best thing about their chances imo is that on the last day, Wuss at home will be the easiest assignment, while LI's trip to Leicester away will be one of the hardest. Stay in touch, and there's a very good chance of making it. But they're in far more of a fight than they were 5 matches ago.
