Welsh vs Sale the relegation decider i think. If Welsh win, Sale are in a rather big S***. But, after the results we saw in Rd 14, it may come down to the last round.

I think Wasps/Glos will be a good game. a 0-0 draw would be my preference but as both teams seem very good at scoring i doubt that.
I think Wasps form combined with being at home will give them a win.

Welsh / Sale is important and in those conditions home advantage is key.

Nowell looks a serious talent today.

The fake turf seems to be a serious impediment for kickers though, when Steenson and Hodgson missed 6 of 7 kicks between them you know there's issues.

Have to say that this turf at Sarracens looks the future albeit changes the game which will continue to progress toward rugby league unfortunately.

However, question........Sky are highlighting the dominance of the Saracens scrum and, in particular, the "wonderful work of Matt Stevens" pinpointing his turning in on the hooker as extremely good work........er, is that not illegal and do you not have to push straight? Anyone know the rule?

Really don't like the look of the new Sarries stadium - far too sparse, I imagine atmosphere is non-existant.
Also, considering their entire game is based around kicking, their in goal is tiny!

I've made no secret of the fact I dislike artificial pitches, and this one does nothing to sway that - looks like crap (like an american football pitch, with different coloured areas) - and is effecting kickers aswell.
Two of the best kickers in the prem and it took 6 goes before they got one over - if you watched their kicks on replay their planted feet were skidding on the surface. Think we could see kicking ranges shrink if putting power through loses grip.

Gods. Those bloody songs. Sometimes I really hate Sarries.

That could be a good thing!!

I understood that this is just the start and the building work goes on to add capacity and enclose the ground.................my problem would be the running track around it whicih means that you are further away and, by the time you get twoard the back of the stands, you are too far away to see anything just like Twickenham really where you need binoculars to read the players' number!

EDIT.....WTF!!!! Sarries score in the 76th minute and the ground is blasted with Pavarotti and Nesum Dorum until the 79th minute of play...........becoming a farce this music at rugby games and that, together with an over loud PA, certainly would put me off EVER attending a game there...you can hardly hear the post match interviews over the nutter who is screaming down the PA....

Strettle just did something that wasn't **** (putting Vunipola in for his 2nd try) Wow. Glitch in the matrix...

No class from the Sarries by playing Nessum Dorma really loudly whilst play was going, you'd hope its in error but given their track record I doubt it. Whats worse is that the comms laughed it off as a joke.

5 minutes of Quins Leicester game prefaces a likely good match... Quins (and Care) really up for it and non stop action.....then Flood intercepts and scores with the first touch of the ball since kick off!! Turn it on!!!

Edit.....first scrum and Munipola at tight head penalised for...............turning in!!!

Tigers lose so naturally it's the refs fault rather than Quins being better.

Enjoyed the Quins v Leicester first half live and just watched the recorded second half - had to go out to watch the Les Jouers - and really enjoyed it!

If you think Barnes is a "bad" ref get your hands on a video of the Biarritz Castres match tonight.....as a complete independent, I thought Barnes was pretty good here!

Loved the contribution of Care, and not just the wonderful try (that Youngs could never have scored) but his all round game. However, what an awful haircut!!

Also thought Botica did not put a foot wrong and Evans was never missed (unlike his kicks last week!!!)....how are Quins going to keep him and Evans happy in game time terms?

Quins have some quality players coming through and will be a force for some seasons to come but can they keep their manager........when is Kidney's time up officially?!!

Nowell looks a serious talent today.

He played for my local club on loan from Exeter and was frighteningly good for a 17 year old:

He has received a lot of plaudits for the Cornish Pirates when he has played on DR from Exeter, so his getting AP game time comes as no surprise to me.

Awesome vid - one of the things I like him about if he isn't just jinky-jinky, he looks to have a well rounded set of attributes - kicks reasonably, good strength in contact, good eye for those around him - but he does have serious footwork and gas.

If players like he, Watson, Wade and May can demonstrate the solidity required for international rugby, this current trio are starting at numbered days.

O'Shea is contracted to Quins until the end of next season.
