I think people who think money would beat ronda dont really understand the unbelieveable missmatch that exists between a dedicated striker and high level grappler. Of course in a boxing match there would be no question. But in an MMA fight it would be over as soon as rondas hips get within 10 inches of mayweather.
think early UFC days when gracy beat guys who had 30+ lbs on him. Yet Ronda and mayweather are a similar size, Ronda may actually be a bit bigger?
As I have said previously and nobody has offered a rebuttal at all, Royce Gracie in the mid 1990's was probably the best BJJ fighter in the world, the blokes he was fighting were pub fighters and some idiot nobody former boxer with one glove lol.
He wasn't competing against Lennox Lewis or the Real deal. If he was he would have had a short night that's for sure. I don't recall any world class wrestlers either and MMA has turned in to a cuddle fest which you can just lay on your opponent after getting your ass beat on the feet and still win a round, wrestlers are dominating far more than BJJ fighters anyway
Ronda Rousey is minimum 6-7kg lighter than Floyd, but even just looking at them you can tell muscle mass difference is far greater and that's without knowing a thing about human sexual dimorphism. Floyd has an insurmountable athletic advantage that skill could not overcome.
Ronda is an excellent female judo practitioner, but she is not really a high level grappler in the male world. She would not be able to take any of the males in her weight class in the UFC she would be destroyed that is just plain silly. Floyd would beat the brakes off most of the 135lbers in the UFC, he would only lose to the best probably top 10 or so, if he trained for a year he might beat them all. Ronda fights soccer mum's and chicks that only trained MMA for fun 3 or so years ago, its a ****en joke. she's like a big gold fish in a tadpole pond, of course she's going to look good. The UFC only has 2 female weight division's to protect her, she wants no part of a 145lbs Cyborg, they are trying to drain Cyborg down to get her an advantage pretty bloody weak if you ask me.
Oly how many kicks has Ron ever thrown in a fight, 1 or 2? that is not going to stop Floyd wrecking her and his arms are probably longer than her legs anyway.
This Ronda propaganda is just so hilarious to me. Joe Rogan calls her a once in "human history" athlete, she wins the greatest female athlete of all time on some US website, (come on she is 12-0? is that all?) she didn't even win the Olympics.
Serena Williams would probably beat her ass if they had open weight classes lol, there would be 1000's of female athletes I'd rate higher. Athlete's that compete in a much deeper talent pool, Ronda couldn't even win in her number 1 sport of judo ffs.
UFC 193 is on today and she will be fighting a feather fisted scrub boxer/kickboxer/soccer mum Holly Holm, if Holly wins I won't stop laughing for a couple of hours it will be gold.
At least there will be a few real fights on the card like Hunt vs Big Foot 2 (hunt via 1st round ko) and Whittaker vs Hall which should be entertaining. Both fights seem like stand a bang affairs to me which should be good.
