Aye, I was going to go but no chance now, with times like that.
Fight of the year.
Lol fight of the year happens to be 2 wannabe boxers that couldn't cut it in the big league, Amir Khan would beat the brakes off both of them at the same time!!!! and we know what Canelo did to him, food for thought!!!
^Kind of person who will watch fencing and tell everyone they wouldn't last a round with Amir Khan.Lol fight of the year happens to be 2 wannabe boxers that couldn't cut it in the big league, Amir Khan would beat the brakes off both of them at the same time!!!! and we know what Canelo did to him, food for thought!!!

155 is Nates natural weight class. The whole welterweight thing was Conors idea.Didn't watch the fight but I'm reading a lot of people think Diaz won sighting that he had more significant strikes and takedowns. Is there anything to take seriously in these claims or are they misunderstanding that a fight is judged round by round rather than as a whole?
Also, if McGregor v Diaz 3 is at 155 does that further increase McGregor's chances being at his natural weight class whereas Diaz is a bit lower than what would be comfortable?

It was incredibly close, and I think McGregor won, but claims for Nate aren't completely unfounded - he did land more strikes and more significant strikes and controlled the octagon. Think it was closer to a draw than a nate win (3x 10-9 for conor and 1x 10-8 + 1x 10-9 for nate, which is what one of the judges had).
MMA judging does need an overhaul though, has done for a while.
For example it values takedowns and Knockdowns too highly atm without looking at what they do with it (it's not unheard of for fighters to shoot for a takedown at the end of a round just to try and win points, but not try and work for a sub or anything). Nate got knocked down three times but never really looked that hurt by them - Nate got closer to finishing conor than the other way round.
