I reckon Rocky Elsom has chosen this game to return to form and play a blinder.[/b]

Yeah, I read his mind on that too, but was really hazy on some of the other things he's thinking. What was it he's planning to have for dinner again?

You just dont get it.

If Barnes weren't injured, I'd have gone for Aus to be slight favourites. It's that close IMO.[/b]

Barnes kicks the ball every time he touches it, he sucks, we have Digby now the jesus of Rugby.

Ther has been quite a bit of talk about that over here.

Given the season he had with Leinster we have all been wondering why Deans doesnt use him as a carrier more.

Not convinced by Fitzgerald in defence.[/b]
I cut out the Wallace reference so I could focus my WTF on the statement above.

WTF????????????

:)

Just said I'm not convinced. He'll soon be getting a lot of attention from hopping Wallabies - they won't try to run over him, but bamboozle him. If he does well, I'll be convinced.

is the game on sun or sat becues i have a calender that says it's on sat but it's on TV on sun?

Ahhh right cause physically hes throwing himself into tackles with great abandon. Stopped Nick Williams dead in his tracks. Positionally ...... ive never had a problem with him in that regard.

Very well written peice in the Irish Times by Liam Tholand today.[/b]

Well done to Tom Court, born and bred Australian playing for Ireland on the bench.[/b]

And David Pocock. A born and bred Zimbabwean playing for Australia.

And Sergio parisse a born and bred argie captaining italy,
and riki flutey a born and bred kiwi playing for england

I don't see your point... If they have citizenship for the country, they're allowed to play for it, simple as

Yer better orf without him really. He's only really there because he can cover both sides of the scrum adequately. Not a bad player or anything. Just Nuffin much to him really.

Riki Flutey lives and plays in France. England isn't his country.

Yeah one of those late developers. I dont want to knock him as he does a job, you you have a feeling when the additional slot on the bench is allowed for an additional prop, he may lose out. Then again its not as if we are flush full of props at the moment.

Anyhoo. Interesting lack of chat from the Australians in general. I reckin they dont rate us (or any of the NH teams) in the slightest. While they have lost a shed load of games this year they have been against the 1st and 2nd best teams in the world. Any NH team would have experienced the same kind of results. They were comfortable against England and have so much match practice that they are only going to get better.

To be honest, the only two things I would point out are that we are playing in Croke Park, and I dont think any of us realise how completely woeful England actually were last week. For a team that were pretty damned poor they still showed very very well for 40 minutes.

Dude I wasn't being sarcastic. His story is amazing, he only started playing the game when he was 24.

Just looking at the two teams, and while the north has bleeted on about how this is possibly the best ever Ireland team, I really won't be surprised if we win. If this was being played in Australia we would win comfortably. The fact it is being played at Croke Park is defiantly going to have baring, but if the weather is decent and we play to our ability we really should knock these Paddies off.

Now the Rog has being picked to start I think the Aussies should win too. Plus Aussies have had a big chunk of international rugby together.

The Irish team is going in Cold. Flannery's just back from injury. I'm not concinced by Wallace at inside centre.

I don't think anyone will be surprised if the Aussies win but would you be surprised if they lost?

But if the weather is decent and we play to our ability we really should knock these Convicts off.

Wow was not expecting such a dignified response. Was really just stirring mate I have no doubts this is going to be a very touch match. I haven't seen much of Ireland but you have to be a good side to win the Six Nations and of course they are going to be strong on their own patch. Could go either way in my opinion.

Is this game being played on a Sunday in Ireland?
