Ireland vs Australia

I just wanted to chime in and say well done to Cian Healy. Excellent match for him.

I agree Cian Healey had a great game providing a go forward from the front row that Ireland have often lacked in the past. Also I thoguht Keith Earls had a pretty good game. I only question the choice of Paddy Wallace at 12 as with him an O'Gara it provides a target for all the big backrow runners in loose. Yet a draw was a fair result.

Lads what about young Ryan who moved to Toulon from Munster although he not getting games he must benefit from the experience[/b]
Needs to learn how to scrummage before he can be considered a serious option. He's in his mid 20s now and I doubt he'll progress too much more. Hope I'm wrong though.

But isn't that why he in France tp improve in them area's like but he is still young enough to decide path his carrear goes

Ryan will be 26 at the end of the season. He should have learned his trade by now. In 2005 he looked like a talented ball carrier and bad scrummager. In 2009 there's no improvement in either area. He should have improved by now. Rotting in the Toulon Espoirs team will do him no good although it'll likely boost his bank balance considerably. Perhaps a move to Connacht where he'd challenge Jamie Hagan for game time would help improve him.

None of this has anything to do with the Ireland/Australia game though!
