Ireland appear to enjoy playing, it looks like a chore for England
Edwards: Head Coach,Literally Edwards would be perfect right now, England predictably s*** Theo Dan & Smith at least looked lively and if anyone had half supported them properly may well have made something of it. Atleast the scoreline wasn't as bad as I had thought, thankfully Ireland didn't go above 3rd gear.
Indeed the attack wouldn't become world beating over night but improving physically, defence and work rate would go a hell of a long way.Edwards: Head Coach,
Diamond: Forwards,
Forshaw: Defence,
Blackett: Attack
If that collection of accents can't scare some life into these public school boys then we're beyond hope
Wait! Was it Keith Earls 100th cap?Paddy Wallace of all people with a great stat.
"Keith Earls on his 1st cap and 100th cap had 2 touches and results in 2 tries against 2 tier 2 teams"
At least the gaps closing world ranked NO1 only manage to put 29 points on a T2 nation at home.Paddy Wallace of all people with a great stat.

I agree, but also, the 3/4 exceptions (I would say a few more) are pretty large and left massive holes in the squad. You expect a coach to pick the best available players and implement a game plan thats suit those players strengths. Borthwick has done neither. With only 3 or 4 exceptions most people would have picked a similar RWC squad. The player base is what it is - it's not stellar but it's OK.
The coach's job is to make the team greater than the sum of its individual parts. There has been literally no indication of that. None. Nada. Zilch. Zip. Sweet FA.
The barest minimum requirement is organised, disciplined and energetic and we're none of those.
100% but we are only warming up for world cup not flat out yet. and pity the tier 2 nations aren't learning from previous mistakes and tackling. Although Saracens plan to rest lads is workingAt least the gaps closing world ranked NO1 only manage to put 29 points on a T2 nation at home.
This, we know it didn't go well in the six nations but SB seems to just want more of the same and somehow expect a different outcome, it's the very definition of insanity.I agree, but also, the 3/4 exceptions (I would say a few more) are pretty large and left massive holes in the squad. Simple Steve is not capable of creating a complex game plan.SB has a gameplan, but
1) it doesnt fit the player profile
2) he is either not communicating it or it us too complex.
