Kearney, Fitzgerald and Best all out,

O'Driscoll, D'arcy and Bowe all maybes, with decisions being made on tuesday

From the top line i'd imagine Earls FB, Cronin start/Varley bench and Trimble start

No idea if Bowe D'arcy and O'Driscoll all out,
Wallace/Earls midfield? Fionn Carr call up? I imagine Geordan Murphy at fullback

There are possitives in this since Kearney is playing poorly someone now gets a chance to take his shirt. Best needs a break and Varley should get an opportunity from this. Its a shame about Luke Fitzgerald since I think he has had a good few games so far considering he has just comeback to international rugby from a long injury. This is also bad for the provnces since these players could be out for the H-cup round 2.

Hmmm worst case scenario we lose five backs. I reckon we'd still be able to put out a decent line however:

9) Strings
10) Sexy
11) Horgan
12) J Murphy/P Wallace
13) Earls
14) Carr
15) Robnoxious

Bit lightweight in the middle but still enough about it to give the Argies a good rattle.

Who's Robnoxious?
And surely Trimble would get the nod before Carr (however wrong that may be!)

I think this is Irelands game to lose, to be fair. If Ireland can play with the intensity of this weekend, and Argentina are as shockingly poor as they were, it could be a long day for them.

Rob Kearney. T'was an early Leinster nickname he acquired for being an arrogant little shite. I'll die a little inside if Trimble plays for Ireland again. I thought earlier in the year that he may have developed into a good player, but he STILL CAN'T CATCH THE BLOODY BALL!! Useless.

Kearney's injured, Feic. Fergus McFadden should get the call up if D'Arcy and BOD are injured.

9. Strings
10. Sexgod
11. Trimble
12. Wallace
13. McFadden
14. Carr
15. Earls

Aha, thought so,

Surely G. Murphy will be called up as FB though? I'm sure he was called up/not used last week or so?
I imagine the wings will be Trimble/Earls with Murphy at FB

Oh dear, I missed that one. I'll have another go:

9) Guy Easterby
10) Jackie Kyle
11) Simon Geoghagen
12) Brendan Muller
13) Rob Henderson
14) Anthony Horgan
15) Cecil Boyd

Johne Murphy was named in the Munster team yesterday but didn't play. Was he injured or has he been called up by Declan Kidney? The same happened with Damien Varley who I assume will cover for Rory Best.

Intrigued no one's mentioned Gavin Duffy, as it seems there's a very strong possibility that'd he play if you ask me.

Johne Murphy and Damien Varley had slight injuries but were asked to be rested by IRFU at last minute as a precaution.

I'd be shocked if Carr is used seen as he has never been put in to training squads.
As I said before New Zealand game - I'm happy that it was all Leinster and Bowe who started because I think Leinster will be tested now in the Heineken Cup and well I'd still expect them to win pool but it'll be hard now. (Lets not forget amount of physical demands these AI's take out of players)

Assuming all injured players are out, I think this is how Declan Kidney will set up the patched up three quarter line and full back spot:

15.G.Murphy/Duffy
14.J.Murphy/Horgan
13.Earls
12.Wallace
11.Trimble

Please no Trimble like put John Hayes on the wing but no Trimble - He never performs in green

Just read the article looks like Leinster have lost their two front line FB's for a few weeks, i think the Leinster line up will be something like

10. Johnny Sexton
11. Andrew Conway
12. Gordan D'Arcy
13. BOD
14. Shane Horgan
15. Isa Necway(sp)

and for the Argis

10. Johnny sexton/ROG
11. Andrew Trimble (witch other wingers are there?)
12. Johnny Murphy
13. Keith Earls
14. Tommy Bowe
15. Georden Murphy

I agree, Trimble shouldn't be there on form but Declan Kidney seems to like him. To be fair, who else is putting their hand up? A 32 year old Shane Horgan is yesterday's man and Fionn Carr's try scoring has dried up. Denis Hurley is a possibility but he's no great shakes. At least Trimble has 6 or 7 years as an international ahead of him and has shown glimpses of talent although his form has deserted him.

Having poo pooed your suggestion of picking Johne Murphy in the past, I now agree that he must get a start (assuming others are injured).

If Bowe's fit then I predict this;

9. Reddan
10. Sexface
11. Tremble
12. Wallace
13. Earls
14. Bowe
15. Murphy

Should be good enough to beat the Argies I'd imagine...

Another way of looking at it is Trimble has been there for 7 years and been useless and ineffective for majority.
I find it hard to see how Johne Murphy could be overlooked. His try-scoring rate in past years has been excellent. His form as of late again excellent and he is versatile.
On the wings etc I presume if Wallace is at 12 although I hear D'ArcyBowe and BOD should all make it. Earls has to start and well Murphy Carr and possibly McFadden should all be put in ahead of Trimble too
