IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy available online starting Jun. 18th

6-6 not the most entertaining game so far... I would go as far as saying its a little bit boring. and by "little Bit" I mean "A lot"

Tonga turning it up in the 2nd half. Nice work by them for sure to still have the stamina after all the pressure they put on the USA in the first half and tackled the hell out of them. There are still 20 min's or so left for it to turn around though.

Another try for The US and unless Chile has some undercover Kiwis playing for them I'm sure that The USA will be in the final.

And now we know that JWC will have a debutante next year. I just hope its Georgia

The big game of chicken will be Georgia-Japan. With the defeat of Tonga today, the road to the ***le is wide open for those who finish first in Pool B.

according to what I've been told by somebody who watched, Georgia in command of the match and the front row were dominant, and in the back rower Mamrikishvili was also good as was the scrum half

I'm looking forward to seeing Lomidze soon, I've heard he is the star of this team, I wonder how quickly he will break into the Georgian side (probably very quickly considering Georgia plays third choice forwards for half the ENC and in June)

Wales 119-7 Japan

Compare pas le Pays de Galles avec la Géorgie, c'est un autre monde. Sinon, tu as peur de venir sur le forum?

Final score USA 22 Tonga 11. Tonga essentially gave us that game, with 13 on the field at the end, and penalties throughout. Plus, playing in Salt Lake is probably just as much like playing at home for Tonga as it is for the US.

Chile usually get better results in junior than in full internationals. Many of these junior players will become lawyers, doctors and such and keep rugby just as a hobby.

USA and Chile was always a close match, until the US started developping about 10+ years ago. Chile is supposed to be catching up though: this U20 team beat Argentina U19 (the first time ever a Chilean representative beats an Argentine one). What I want to say is that USA-Chile will be closer than what a match between the full international representatives would be.

edit: I hadn't noticed they play in the US, it win't be that close then.

Georgia 3 - 0 Zimbabwe 10'

Georgia 10 - 0 Zimbabwe 25'

Georgia 17 - 0 Zimbabwe 30'

Georgia 24 - 0 Zimbabwe 35'

Georgia 31 - 0 Zimbabwe 40'

And the bonus points are in the bag.

Georgia 31 - 7 Zimbabwe 56'

Georgia 38 - 7 Zimbabwe 65'

Georgia 42 - 7 Zimbabwe 80' and they shut down the stream before the game was over great -_-

there's a crowd of about ... 25?

Zimbabwe are playing dumb rugby, why an earth when that guy had a penalty did he tap and go, run 2 metres, and then kick straight to the Georgian winger?

And then they just butchered a massive overlap, but eventually got some points on the board.

What did you expect Psychic ? That's classic Zimbabwe right there

This Game was Absolutely pleasure to watch.

Japan vs Canada is about to start. This should be a lot closer. Lets go CAN

Georgia should have been more clinical at the end there

they messed up some opportunities, and should be unhappy and not getting past 50 and getting near 60 considering their dominance for the last 15 minutes

Lasha Lomidze did well from the back of the scrum, he looks likely to figure in the team in 2015, he looked immense even though against Zimbabwe, he's being hyped as the biggest thing to come out of Georgia since Gorgodze so he's got a lot of expectation on him

how an earth did Japan nearly lose to that Zimbabwe side?

they were poor offensively (their passing was dire and choreographed) and although could tackle from set plays they got disorganised as soon as one break was made
