what can i say. am i in a place to comment at all. probly not. but i will.

the lions to me are a joke. the most overrated group of players on earth. why? because they still manage to lose. if the southern hemisphere had a team made up from all its countries then any individual country would be, without any doubt, stripped of all dignity and decapatated by a huge margin.

maybe im just being over dramatic but after seeing the 2005 lions tour of new zealand the fantasy of any team from the british isles was shattered. one word pathetic.

good luck though. prove me wrong. when you see new zealand beat australia in the world cup final and you see that smiling face of mine in the croud. remeber this. the person smiling is me. i was right. your countrie wasnt in the final. and i hope you realise the lions tour is (or was) doomed.

Ohhh Kay. Let me knock this one on the head right away. The previous posts by "dan the man nz" do not represent the views and values of all New Zealanders. As it so happens, they represent two types of New Zealanders views. The first being people below 10, and are sometimes allowed to stay up late to watch the rugby game on the big screen TV, two large in my opinion for their trailer. The second is the miserable old drunks who turn up every Saturday at their local pub, yell about how good their team is and pretend that they have some remote knowlege of the game. The common theme is ignorence.

As it so happens, I advice against taking the opinions of people with "NZ" somewhere in their names very seriously, unless they've shown some remote knowlege of rugby outside of New Zealand. I'd be very suprised if he could name the names of any NH leagues, without googling it first.

whatsmore you say since its the professional era you shouldnt win as often ae.. but guess what.. its the same for everyone buddy.. quit making excuses..

are you suggesting its about the history that makes the lions so great.. well in that case why not support any club thats been around a while.. but it would seem better to support one that wins more often though.. than one that has a history of losing which is pathetic for so many nations to even have to consider when facing off against one by itself
