Right lets get the topic back on track: Who would put as the Captain? Seeing as a lot of the performers in this 6N have been relatively young, and most of the old players who are country captains (Tindall, Kellock, POC) probably wouldn't be selected, it makes the captaincy decision all the more important.

I would probably go for Gethin Jenkins (assuming he was fit) or the reistatement of BOD but I still wouldn't feel entirely confident with either as I was with having POC last tour as he was a true leader.

What does everyone else think?

Think it would be Matthew Rees at hooker or BOD, I don't think giving the captaincy to Gethin would be the smartest of moves, considering the amount of work he does round the park, I believe it would affect his game.

Jamie Heaslip could be a good captain but we may have to see him captain Ireland first. I think Mathew Rees would be a good lions captain because he leads from the front and I don't think it would effect his game.

im not 6"4' im 6"0'..

ive never done powerlifting in my life but can squat 100kg for 3 sets of ten reps..

and i cant fight with all that tricky karate chop stuff.. not at all.. and i have no experiance to be honest.. but what the hell id still fancy my chances..
