Following the very regrettable postponement of the France v Ireland match last Saturday which left thousands of supporters disappointed and frustrated, the Six Nations Council wish to announce that the postponed RBS 6 Nations match between France and Ireland will now take place on Sunday 4thMarch at 4pm French local time (3pm GMT) in the Stade de France.
The Six Nations Council can also confirm that French & Irish ticket holders unable to attend the match will receive a full refund of their match ticket. Final details of the refund mechanism should be available tomorrow.

The RBS 6 Nations Championship format dictates that a match postponed in weeks one or two of the competition will be rescheduled to take place in either week three or, as in this case, week five of the tournament.

Commenting on the rescheduled match details John Feehan, Chief Executive, Six Nations said

“We are delighted that we have agreed a new date and time for the RBS 6 Nations France vs Ireland match in the RBS 6 Nations window. We are also delighted that the FFR have announced a ticket refund scheme.â€

Hello,
I am a french journalist working for a national radio.
I am looking for testimonies of Irish supporters who will or won't go back to France on 4th March.
Would you be interested answering a few questions on the phone?
Moreover, fo you know any one who is in that situation and who, fortunately, speaks a bit of french?
Please contact me with your phone number in your e-mail, I will call you back as soon as you are available.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.
Jean-Baptiste Durand, journalist at RTL.
