Could have been a great game. Both teams trying to play rugby, well I should clarify that with France playing rugby, ireland trying to play rugby. Only problem for Ireland is that were incapable of holding onto the ball, the ball we get is slow, our backs are not offering any penetration and our defense is doing a damn fine impression of ............ well of not being there at all.

If we can fix those minor issues we'll have them in the second half

This is horible for Ireland. Where has their legendary line out gone?! O'Gara is barely keeping things together! Cannot believe Ireland spurrned that wide, gaping hole of an overlap by coming back inside, that is simply criminal!

We could see another hat-trick next half...

Clerc is brilliant definetely the best finisher and perhaps player in the northern hemipshere, only Habana and Rockoco are better in my opinion. Really good first half, this time last year Ireland definetely would have scored off that big overlap on the left, they are just lacking in confidence. But bloody hell France are good to watch, enough of the boring strutured game.

Aside Clerc there is plenty of talent in our backs: Elissalde, Skrela & Heymans were superb in this first half...

I don't know if we're gonna win the whole thing but we have definitively the best squad et the best style of play of NH in my opinion.

Ireland's line out is self destructing and now they're trying to grind out something, anything to get something out of this....god, all of that complacency, all of those wasted chances in 2004,5,6 and 7...they're all coming back to haunt Ireland now.

Poor kick from Elisade, right into O'Driscoll and the ball bounces into Heyman's hands for a walk in under the post. Cant really account for something like that but its not as if Ireland have been pounding on the French line or anything.

Bout time we saw a ref make the tough call. Ireland scrum totally dominant, french collapse twice, penalty try. Big call but it the only way France were going to stop us scoring there was illegally.

Im amazed Lievremont doesnt realised the weakness of Servat and co who came off the bench, since he came on they have been going backwards just like it was against Scotland last week when he was on. Mas came on and they gained dominance in the scrums.

Servat and Brugnaut. A man who was playing in division 2 last year... the only bad choice from Lievremont & co in my opinion. He's too fragile...

Explains nothing because I'm not shouting for the French! This is such an exciting match and its being threatened by France going off of the boil! France are stepping up now, what a finish this is going to be and Ireland are well in with this!
