Things you want to see/ happen in your life-time

Okay, realistically what do you want to see man-kind achieve/ experience by the time you keel over. No point in listing the obvious ones like World Peace, cure for AIDS, end of poverty, renewable energy sources, Scotland winning 5 consecutive world cups, etc...

I would like:

To see the construction of a lab/ station on both the moon and Mars, in my view that we will have somone on the red planet by at least 2025.
An Olympics in an African country besides South Africa.
Finance in football reaching some level of sanity.
The construction of a inter-continental tunnel across either Atlantic (N. America-Europe, S. America to Africa) or from Australia to mainland Asia.
A manned vessel (whether its inhabitants are in some sort of stasis or not doesn't matter) exiting our solar system, at least past the Kuiper Belt.
Fully functional lightsabers (however it can have a cord attached to some sort of battery pack, just need to be able to twirl it around)
Sufficient advances in the medical field to allow for the cloning/ construction of limbs/ organs that function nearly as well as the real thing.
Construction of a 1 mile high building (that new one they are going to be building in Doha/ Kuwait City is supposed to be a little over 1100 metres, no?)
Last but not least, an All Black team consisting solely of players born in New Zealand

Lost/ stolen my Ipod today

First time I've ever had something valuable lost/ stolen under my watch.

I spent the last 4 hours playing gears of war 2 ...smashing.

I have to go back and finish gears 2 actually. Got as far as the bit where you have to drive asome armoured vehicle and didn't feel like playing that but and never went back. Which is a bit daft really.

I lost my keys.

Being driven insane by it really, Sunday night I came home and clearly I had them because I let myself into the house. Monday morning I noticed they were missing. I still haven't found them, and it's Thursday. Since I let myself in Sunday night and didn't leave the house with them, they HAVE to be in the house somewhere.

Though I did do some cleaning Monday morning; the only option is that they accidentally found their way into a garbage bag and got thrown away.
