For talking rot.

It's getting about that time of year where I offer the loose change in my pocket for you to do my exams for me...... :(

I offered last time, but you were too cheap to pay for my flights over ;)

What exams have you got this time?

Only "Population & Community Ecology" this time round, got a bomb load in the summer though, and then (hopefully) graduation shortly afterwards :D

Doesn't sound too bad. Graduating isn't all it is cracked up to be - you then have to find yourself a real job!

Argh, don't remind me!

Had an interview for one today, but I'm not holding out too much hope.

Saw the usual suspects today for the first time ...copped who Kaiser was pretty early....****ing deadly film though

Yup really thought it was top quality ...the lady even bloody liked it ..which for a girl who didn't enjoy such classics as Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs was a nice surprise

I'd have more sympathy, but it's only biology, it's not like a real science or anything :D

I find that deeply offensive

At my senior school the teachers literally made the time-tables with 'Physical Science' and 'Science Lit(eracy)'

(In the event similar systems aren't used other countries to SA, Literacy denotes a 'lower' education, like we also had Maths Core and Maths Lit)

The Bio students took it surprisingly well, but their humourless parents complained.

And for the record, Business Studes/ Economic Sciences can hence forth be regarded as Accounting Core.

I made this thread in night study one evening I think as I approached the leaving cert around this time last year...what a giant pile of tripe that was.

For a moment I thought it was Hitler making that speech, couldn't find a more unlikely person to say that:lol:. But in reality it was a very good video, thanks for posting:)

It was, after a fashion....

The speech comes from a 1940 movie called "The Great Dictator", in which Charlie Chaplin plays a Hitler-like character called Adenoid Hynkel.

The whole movie is a spoof and satirization of Hitler and his rise to power in the Weimar Republic.

Yeah, great movie and awesome speech. Like all great satire it's based on truth.
