What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Just finished Shogun

Absolutely superb - really makes me want to play Ghost of Tsushima again, but going to hold out for the sequel at the end of this year
Why don't you try the assassins creed instead?

Lee Child has sold over 100 million copies of his books. I haven't read a Jack Reacher book and I doubt they're anything more than a fun read but this is a bizarre take.
I've been a Lee Child fan for years and have read all the Reacher books.

I rate a bit above fun reads, they are good and enjoyable.

The TV shows so far are pretty faithful to the books (I'm only halfway through season 3, binging the rest tonight)

The films with Cruise were an abomination comparatively.

Where you do lose out is the thought processes, more about Reachers hobo lifestyle and back story.

I've always thought a bit strange a midlander would write a series of books about an American MP.

Btw in the books Neagley is a shapely blond.

I'll tell you what is a ******* awesome show and I will fight anyone in a car park of their choosing if they slag it off. Mr Inbetween. It's Australian but don't let that put you off. It's top class. Black comedy.
If you like Aussie stuff, try Glitch, I think on netflix. Not comedy, scifi

But hey, look, I didn't expect anything from you peasants. The kind of people like @TRF_Olyy who watch the karate kid show on Netflix. It's like you're all products of the Welsh education system. Extremely disappointing but not surprising.
Wales has an education system? No wonder my nephew moved away from Cardiff.

Tbf it looks quite good, but AC games have crazy price drops (or go onto ubisofts subscription thing) after like a year so I'm happy to wait for that
There are very few franchise's I'll pay new-game price for

I watched the first episode of MobLand shown on Paramount+ earlier this week. Pierce Brosnan as a mobster? I had my doubts before I watched it, but he did a really good job as did the rest of the cast especially Helen Mirren. 👍

Last of Us S2 lands on Sunday
Be interested how they play this out having played the game. I read they will split it over 2 seasons rather than one long S2.

May have to get Now Tv or wait for it to come out on box set and binge watch it after Sky refused to budge on their extortionate offer.

Yeah has to be two seasons, there's only 7 eps (S1 was 9 eps) and the game is a lot longer than the first. There would be a disappointing amount cut out to cram it into that

I have played it as well, but obviously don't want to spoil it for those who haven't. Needless to say I enjoyed the first game far more than the second.

It's grown on me over time. I hated certain elements at first and think it's a little bloated, but it's still very good

I've played it through 3 times overall. The last when I did a naughty dog marathon of all 4 Uncharted games and both TLOU games. The second game still didn't grow on me. Hoping they do do a final game but saw that Druckmann is still in two minds to make up for it.

I played the last of us and the second one back to back. Was pretty sick. Super immersive game. Enjoyed the first season of the show too. Looking forward to this one. HBO rarely miss to be fair.
