Person C is conceived in County A of parents from B and C, and born in country D.
He can play prop, and is called up by Kidney.
You're absolutely right.Don't be silly. Nationhood is an invented concept. Comparing it to race is nonsensical. As an example, is a person from Southern Somalia Somalian or Southern Somalian? Country wasn't in existence until last year or so, so they must be choosing to be Southern Somalian then eh?
Nationhood isn't a hard wired biological precept like the things you've mentioned above. If geopolitics is variable, then a person's nationality must also be variable.
As far as I'm concerned you can call yourself whatever you want. The idea that one's nationality sets them apart from the rest of the world on some fundamental level is a dangerous train of thought.
can someone...like a mod...please draw a line under the whole nationality thing, surely not the place and pretty repetitive, if a newbie had brought it up someone would have told them where to go.
Great to see Scotland score a few tries, being able to make the most of those chances is a good base to work from, previously when given an intercept you might not have been overly confident they would score, good stuff
Thomo should get a ban, will end his AB's and NZ career with a ban...was well worth giving a tour spot too
Cheers!OK. No more nationality talk here lads.
Thanks!
