EOYT: Scotland v AIG All Blacks, 11/11/2012

Well yeah, it's against the laws of the game...
Didn't look much/anything in it, and he's not a dirty player, but rules are rules (or laws, as the case may be).

Tim Visser second try!

Considering how poor Scotland were at scoring tries up until very recently, they've put three on New Zealand. Madness!

Thibnk we are saying the same thing about the boot.....................Visser try shows a little over confidence from the ABs for running that one!

This is very respectable stuff from Scotland. How long has it been since any of the NH teams, especially the home nations have put 3 tries on NZ?

Loving Laidlaw taking a leaf out of McCaws book there and being a cheeky bugger in the ruck :p cracking try out of nothing!

Also two of Visser/North/Bowe onthe wings with the third off the bench sounds pretty beast for the Lions...

Gatland is going to be a very happy man to have those lumps on the wing.

No Cuthbert?
Don't be daft.

'Kerr-Barlow helped the Chiefs to a Super 12 ***le' - Super 12 was last played in 2005. BBC commentators 8 years behind the present.

Nice try from Savea.

Should have been a penalty to Scotland in the scrum though. NZ prop wasn't binding in the slightest, in fact at one point he had his hand on his knee!

Awesome bit of blocking by the AIGs for that try.
Nah, he kept his support line, you're allowed to do that.

Kiwis shouldn't qualify for the Lions but Hartley will go.
Tongans shouldn't qualify for the Lions but Faletau will go.
Samoans shouldn't qualify for the Lions but Tuilagi will go.

If you're qualified for a B&I nation you're qualified for the Lions, that's that.

A quote from my (half) Scottish mate
'If Greig Laidlaw asked me to have his babies I would give it a damn good try before admitting defeat!'

Froby's gonna get you.

If Cueto can be a Lion, our Alex could captain them.

Pfft, Cuthbert's not fit to clean Cueto's boots, even now he's old and decrepit.
In his prime he's not fit to play on the same pitch!

Precisely. Visser, Tuilagi and Faletau have absoloutely no connection with Britain or Ireland except to live here for a while. At least Hartley has bloodline through his English mother.

Re: the blocking - running straight is llegal, changing your running line isn't.

Cuthbert doesn't play league.

I mean, Tuilagi and Faletau have grown up in the UK, played all of their rugby here. Their entire families have resided as well. I think Faletau moved to Wales when he was ~7, he will be 22 tomorrow, so that is 2/3 in the UK.

I must check the forum rules to see if it says "you must shoehorn another bloody debate about players heritage into every bloomin' thread"

Thats getting old
