EOYT: Scotland v AIG All Blacks, 11/11/2012

I like Ben Smith at centre, but worry that a midfield of him and Ellison is a bit lightweight. Similarly, they are two utility players that are probably in the All Blacks for that reason. Not sure that this is a long term option. I hope Scotland come close, it bothers me when the All Blacks field so called 'B' teams, but I guess it's the best way to bring through new players.

Would also be nice to see Barrett get a decent run out, I think he's going to be a better player than Cruden in the long run.

Not to rub it in to the Scots on here but...there's no way in hell Scotland gets this (not just based on the above). And the AB's NEVER underestimate a team, they won't be caught by surprise or anything.
They're getting their (minimum) 30 for sure...I'd imagine 40 this time around...they're full strength.

Yep - not too worried from an AB's perspective. An Ellison/Smith midfield is a bit of a concern (As neither are playing their usual position), but other than that I'm not overly concerned. Hopefully Weepu/Thomson don't mess up too badly - providing that happens I won't be too upset. With any luck it'll be nice weather.

God speed Scotland...
sorry, kinda all I got to say really. :D

see people moaning about the new zealand centre's being lightweight, matt scott and nick de luca arn't exactly the biggest eith, just like the rest of the scotland back line

At least it is not raining... yet.

I am not so sure right now, everyone is expecting a drubbing, but I feel if the Scottish players at least put in some effort, they could keep the score below 50.

I found the ironing strong switching on and the first thing I see is jiffy talking about **drum roll** Really, if you can't guess you need to have a quiet word with yourself in the corner.

Mon Scotland, just try, that is all we ask, you shouldn't be playing these guys but, yeah, the match has been organised and needs to be played.

It is all down hill from here now.....penalty after 50 seconds to NZ!

God bless you lads, hard enough for a top ranking team to take thee guys on!!

Tim Visser try!

I was considering putting money on him getting first try

They passed (to) the dutchy on the left hand side....and he scores.

Why boo? Seriously.

Welcome to Murrayfield and 60000 spectators 40000 of whom have never been to a rugby match.....................cheap tickets and plenty of lunch time refreshment!!

Carter makes up for his bloomer giving the intercept with great break.......

fooooook...just like that, Scotland's early try is history.

I dont get why people get in a tizz about it, if a kicker gets put off by it then its the kickers problem.

It is all about respect.......and what this game should be about!

Tradition is that the kicker is allowed to do his thing in respectful silence just as a golfer is allowed to play his shot in silence.
