EOYT: England v Australia, 17/11/2012

Being the form player in the Premiership doesn't make you international class. It's sad but true. And we'll have to disagree about the level of his performances, particularly against South Africa.

Being an experienced & decorated test rugby player doesn't make you "international" class either. Or for that matter, top flight club level class either. See: Stephen Donald. And Steve Borthwick.

Well maybe you was watching a different game to most of the experts who thought Tom Johnson played badly in SA :p
you have to look at the opposition did and you cannot be blamed for the teams shortcummings which will affect how you perform.

"Experts" also tell you that Ben Youngs is better then Danny Care and that David Paice is fit to lace up Hartleys boots. "Experts" are paid to have outlandish opinions, justifying their own existence by supposedly "knowing better" then the so-called plebs who watch the same matches.

I don't think anyone thinks Paice is at Hartleys level - it took a series of retirements and injuries for him to make it to the England bench.

Barnes and Morris have been banging that drum for around 3 years.

Some interesting opinions. In my opinion, Hartley isn't that good. He seems to be quite small, but still carrying alot of the wrong kind of weight and although small, still quite slow. Easy to knock back in the tackle although i appreciated the physical side he showed in South Africa, if I can remember rightly.

I don't think Hartley is particularly amazing, but he's definitely the best option we have at the moment.

Barnes does not appear to know which end to talk out of and afraid Dewi is his pet monkey who has never had an original thought in his life even though he seems a really nice guy!
