EOYT: England v Australia, 17/11/2012

Australia: 15 Berrick Barnes, 14 Digby Ioane, 13 Adam Ashley-Cooper, 12 Ben Tapuai, 11 Nick Cummins, 10 Kurtley Beale, 9 Nick Phipps, 8 Wycliff Palu, 7 Michael Hooper, 6 Dave Dennis, 5 Nathan Sharpe (captain), 4 Sitaleki Timani, 3 Ben Alexander, 2 Tatafu Polota Nau, 1 Benn Robinson.
Replacements: 16 Stephen Moore, 17 James Slipper, 18 Sekope Kepu, 19 Radike Samo, 20 Liam Gill, 21 Brett Sheehan, 22 Mike Harris, 23 Drew Mitchell.

So Barnes at 15 and Beale at 10 is set is stone it seems. Still find it kinda strange to see the world best 15 from the last 2 years at 10.

I agree, Daggs the best 15, Beale is probably 2nd tho !

What is this, I don't even...

^ lol so Kearney's turned into a nice big hotshot now huh, looking all Hollywood on ads an all that good stuff !!

Knowing the Irish, this should be quite...ahem, comedic for them.

I don't really know why it is that full-back has the most discussion around it about 'who's the best in the world', particularly with regards to the lions. Maybe because there's only 1 of them? Can't be that, I swear 2, 9 and 10 don't generate the same levels of argument.

To really keep the ball rolling, I should go and do this:

I don't think it neccessarily does have the most discussion, but one reason may be because it is an area of strength within the NH teams, whereas talking about fly half and the lack of serious talent gets depressing! Also its one of the most interesting positions to analyse because of its diverse nature. You have to be able to tackle well, be quick and agile and kick well to make a good full back. So in that sense theres more to discuss possibly.

Compared to the dances of Ioane? Ioane looks very pretty when he does silly dances.

back on topic please guys pls.

I actually think all this scrum thing is going to be a none issue.
The game is going to be won on the ground-work the teams do.
If Robshaw can match/beat hooper and the rest of the england pack can get a stronghold on the breakdown i can't see Aussies damaging us much.

England have a very tight defence and it will need mistakes by England team to let them score.

Looking forward to watching the match. It's a tough call - it depends on how Australia respond to last week, or what level England are actually at (it's hard to judge when comparing them with Fiji). I reckon England will nick it, but the breakdown and the backs are the places where it matter - Australia will be expecting to be weaker in the scrum, and I reckon they'll adjust their game around that.

 good stuff !!
And yes...I'm soooooooooooooo glad the Chris Ashton hating thing (in general, not just the dive) isn't one of those situations where there's only you in the world who hates smt and nobody else seems to understand what you're talking about. All his vids on youtube, the top rated comment is stuff like "he's gonna miss the try one day with that dive..."

And I must admit, when that 35-18 happened last EOYT, and he got that famous try...I mean, great play, but the way he did it....my GOD...you talk about being "physically sick" !! He starts outrunning a few ozzies, and he puts on the most disgusting smile you've ever seen and pulls his tongue out, ohhhhh God just talking about it...*gag reflex, gastric fluids rising to throat*...ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Marvelous...
funny it should be called the "swan dive", because rather than having class and grace I genuinely find he looks like a chicken...especially on this pic, on the profile angle...serious !

"Bohkeeeehhhk !!!...bok bok..."
