Probably the whole foreign player waltzing straight into the starting team and keeping out younger English prospects when he arguably doesn't deserve the position on merit either.

Neither, he hasn't stood out but other than one bad offload vs NZ he's done a good job. I'd have him as 2nd choice 6 (assuming Underhill's seen by EJ as a 7).

Considering how inexperienced that England side is, and how few training sessions they had together, that's a hell of a result.

Marchant, Curry and Dombrandt must surely get spots in the 45 squad for that. Mitchell and Smith deserve something, but I can't see Eddie budging on the half-back selection.
