He beat SA playing there - something England haven't done in a while.

He's obviously the missing key.

Manu was excellent for Lions when he was asked to do more with ball than just bash as well, he and BOD linked up great couple of games.

Barritt scored a try v SA for Saracens. Maybe we should try both together in the centres ? Nah screw it Barritt and Tuilagi would never beat the top sides.

Lets not drop Joseph, thanks. Barritt is in the squad for sure though. Probably him and JJ as starters.

how about bring Joel Tompkins back i love a good cumback story but ever since BT put an adult filter choice in I haven't been able to see any unless I use someone elses internet.

Joel, why have you forsaken us?

Sarcasm detector malfunction there my friend!

Was it Barritt and tuilagi vs the all blacks?
Don't get topped than nz

Barritt will actually be straight in though, lets be honest (not an awful thing either, our defensive line was poor at times in 6NS).

The guy is playing well, would love to see him (back) and his bro in union...

9 Eastmond, 10 Ford, 11 Ryan Hall, 12 J Tompkins, 13 Sam Burgess, 14 Ashton, 15 S Tompkins.

How about that back line ?

Does Burgess' first MOTM award mean that the coverage of him will go back up to 11? I was enjoying not hearing his name as much.

Will still be miffed if he's in the squad ahead of Ewers/Kvesic. There for experience? Cool. But not if he's taking the place of our two best flankers.

Its not his first MOTM award is it? I am sure he got it against Newcastle last week as well.

Can't take anyone for experience to a WC, should pick best players full stop.

Oh, I was more thinking of the initial 45-man squad. Been some talk of Burgess being there for experience and maybe a little time against the Barbarians.

I agree he should be in that training camp thing. Can smuggle Robshaw/Wood/Haskell/Billy V/Morgan/Ewers/Burgess/Kvesic in there for a look I would think, surely point of big squad is to look at areas where starters not nailed on? Itoje as a LK/FL might be worth a look as well.

Is this a case of self-fulfilling prophesy here? :p

Assuming 9 back-rowers, of which three are probably 8s, and the usual pecking order so far, you might want to start preparing your indignation...

... but please remember what should be the real target, which is the fact those two just aren't really rated by Lancaster full stop on current evidence.

Kvesic, maybe not. But Ewers is in his breakout season where people have started calling for him so I think there's still hope. And Kvesic's in the kind of form where you'd be an idiot to ignore.

9 backrowers?:
Wood, Robshaw, Kvesic, Ewers, Haskell, Burgess (for practice only), Morgan/Easter, Vunipola, Waldrom
