When's Morgan back?
and does anyone know how bad Binny's injury is?

Their carrying is vital to the way our pack functions, lose both of them and we're in trouble. Not sure who'd be our starter in that case - Waldrom probably has the impact of the two, and is playing very well for Chiefs.
Easter is a good player, but does he have the legs for 60+ of international rugby? Probably doesn't have the bosh in the carry of the others, as well.

I don't know how you could pick Easter over Ewers as someone to cover 6/8 and lock, the only thing Easter has over him is experience, but when the form/ability weighs so heavily in favor of Dave I think that's rendered null.

I'm talking solely as a starting 8.
Ewers would definitely be my pick in the EPS, but if Binny and Benny are out, who's next in line? That's what I'm asking.

Kvesic, maybe not. But Ewers is in his breakout season where people have started calling for him so I think there's still hope. And Kvesic's in the kind of form where you'd be an idiot to ignore.

9 backrowers?:
Wood, Robshaw, Kvesic, Ewers, Haskell, Burgess (for practice only), Morgan/Easter, Vunipola, Waldrom

Take it up with Lanny, not me. Calum Clark will quite clearly make that squad on past evidence and there's interesting questions about a fit Johnson and Croft.

No point really - just start afresh, this thread aint special, son....

Apparently he's on track to make the World Cup warm-ups. (Thankfully it's not the dreaded "two weeks".)

Ben missing a glorious chance to break out into Daft Punk:

"I'm thinking of this as a positive experience. I can get bigger, better, faster, stronger and improve myself as a player before I come back.

Launchbury is set to return next week as well right?

Now Manu just needs to get off the sofa and we're sorted.

Oh I do not know!! Kinda like being a loner........I will support you @Patchey!!!

*Tears of joy*

It will be interesting on how he goes, and if he will play 12 or 13. I'm really hoping that he goes well, though I wouldnt mind seeing Eastmond tried again.

Eastmond and Ford have got to be 2 of the best distributors in the Aviva. No 2 better players to get the backline moving but they are both quite small. I think they both deserve a go but not necessarily at the same time. I do feel Eastmond has got a raw deal though. Undeniably talented with a great pass and step yet he is in a game where the whole team is misfiring and get made a scapegoat. He got blamed for Tuilagi being out of position, as if it's entirely his responsibility rather than Manu's to know where he should stand. He got blamed for the NZ attack running around our defence and getting past on the wing.
