England 6N 2016 - General Chit Chat

Ah jesus, don't watch it if you don't like it  no-one's forcing you to watch it! Plenty of biased English stuff out there too remember, I generally try to ignore it.

2nd in the poorest 6 Nations I can remember.
I don't see any progress at all, we were poor against a poor Ireland, marginally better against a Scotland side who aren't that good, average against the worst French side fora decade, then we didn't turn up for over an hour against an England side who the press are wrongly building up to be better than they actually are, then we beat a weak injury ravaged Italy, we are always going to be average whilst Howley is in charge of attack. Mark Ring was talking sense on radio Wales Saturday evening in a call to Rick O'Shea, we have these naturally gifted attacking, off the cuff backs who Howley manages to coach the flair out of. (Ringo didn't name Howley but he did suggest that players are having the flair and instinct restricted by the coaching methods employed by Wales)
Well done to England whose young squad performed okay, you were the best of a bad bunch and something dramatic needs to happen if we are to receive anything other than humiliation on our respective SH summer tours.

Well done for posting the exact same post on a different thread.

Hey guys . Been having a think about our defensive systems . With our Saracens like defence does anyone else think we might get caught outnumbered in the wide channels too much ? Saying that because if Australia have as many chances 2 on 1 as France did they will score a lot of points . What's everyone else's opinion on it ?

It would please me if you didn't post on this thread again.:)

Its pathetic that anything remotely anti English valid or not gets jumped on, plenty of anti Wales on Wales based threads just get ignored. It's hypocritical and childish. There is no good reason for the notification received.

And just where are all these anti-Wales posts?

Burgess? Name rings a bell but cannot place him?

Sam Burgess who had more talent than the entire Welsh team put together but was surplus to our requirements because we have loads of other just as talented players lining up.

It's hard being the best, even if it is the best of some other very poor counties

It definitely happened against France, a lot of Nowell's supposed issues in that game were him being left exposed by wrong judgements in the midfield.

That's the thing about that type of defence - it's high risk, high reward defence, relies on perfect execution with tiny margin for error. That takes time to implement, and I'd be inclined to give Gustard some time to do that and expect some mistakes in the meantime.

You definitely can't be half arsed about it, which England were. The midfield would rush up but then not pressure the person with the ball or drift when the ball was moved along, they would just stand there waiting for the French to try to run directly at them.

He can post here if he likes - rugby forum, rugby fan - and you shouldn't be trying to dictate that.

Waking up to an entire page of people just sniping at Valley Commando without actually talking about any of his points is a bit crap. Next time that happens, I will ban at least one person.

If you don't want to talk to him, don't talk to him. But this constant to-do where he can't post a single thing to do with English rugby without a raft of people going 'OMG VC why you talking' is childish beyond belief.

Grow up.
