The aestheticist in me would prefer a rose on the front and a number on the back, full stop. (And a collar and buttons….).

But it's the way of the world elsewhere and if it helps kids identify their heroes or referees spot miscreants then fine.

Quite forgotten that Wales had previously done this.

I think it's a good idea. It'll stop my better half saying "Who's that number 9 he's rubbish" My reply "Oh that's Ben Youngs again".
Same here, though tbh i like it because your 'Fair weather fan' who only watches 6N and internationals wont know half the players so it means fans learn a few more games then get more invested. Either way cant hurt.

I don't love the way it looks but ultimately think it's a good choice. I'm sure it'll just become normal over time.

Why? I have no issue with it at all tbh im not bothered if it doesnt happen but dont care if it does.
I just don't like shirts with the names written on the back. Simple as that.

Fair enough, i assumed there was some reason behind it but fair play some things just annoy you.

I like it because its better for fans who dont follow as much rugby and may not be as sure on players more than that i like it.

I absolutely see your point there. It's just a bugbear of mine :)

I like it, think it's a nice in the right direction (very slowly) for making ruby more modern.

Seen an interesting idea thrown around about sticking their club badge on the arm too?
Potentially a good way raise awareness of the club game for casuals?

Thought Dombrandt went pretty well on his return from injury yesterday. One day I'd like to see him in tandem with Curry and Willis.

I can't see eddie moving from Billy even if he's half fit. Eddie seems to love the in form Billy as much as the lazy substandard Billy. But I may be wrong.

I've not watched enough sarries this season to notice Billy but I personally like my 8s to be more mobile but I guess it has to fit in to the 6/7 combo as well.

Also worth noting that Rato Naulago is "unav" list - not sure how long he has been in the convo
