Canada vs. U.S.A. Pacific Nations Cup. 25/05/13

I'm salivating at the prospect of bringing up some of these posts in as petty a fashion as possible in November. In fact I might have a start now!!!

Since Canada are utterly destroying the States this year, in fact the Eagles have only performed better than Canada in only one test this entire year(they had a much better game against Ireland than we did.) Plus our 7's side did end up finishing higher at the RWC7's event after this thread took place. Also we did better in an attendance point of view in virtually every game as well. While every test other than this one in May got Tv coverage.....amateurs indeed.

You beat me to it, Little Guy. The amateurs spank the U.S. in the PNC (and almost get a grand slam) before winning both legs of the qualifiers, one of which was in very convincing fashion. Oh, getting better crowds than the U.S. for almost every game is what amateur unions do too. The honest reality is that U.S.A. Rugby is a circus right now whereas Rugby Canada is moving in the right direction quicker than they ever have in the professional era.

Indeed, amateur. :)

Not to gloat or anything but great job bringing this one back up LG. ;)

I thought this was great little video RC just uploaded to Youtube. The hiring of Mike Chu has been one of the smartest decisions that RC has mad in a number of years and his influence on the upsurge of Canadian fortunes can not overstated. The COE has been turned into a fantastic facility and the number new professional contracts being signed by those who have come through the COE is testament to that fact. A couple more years of this kind of succcess and by the 2015 WC we could be fielding a fully professional game day 23.
