Bakkie's citing is ridiculous and will get over turned. Can't believe that Sheridan wasn't cited after punching Bekker in the nuts, which is way more vicious and off the ball (no pun intended).
Burger on the other hand should get a lengthy ban.

After watching the video again, i agree with the others posting above, can't really see anything wrong with Bothas hit on Jones. Probably getting cited because of the damage it did, but i can't imagine anything coming from it
Though he was a c*** for the rest of the match, mocking the lions/getting a shove in wherever he can off the ball/just not exhibiting good sportsmanship - Him trying to start a fight with Sheridan after the charge down/shaw being offside springs to mind

Nothing wrong with the Botha incident, hes only in trouble cause the player got injured. If O Driscoll was still standing after collision with Rossouw then he would have been cited too.
Burger was a shocker, really let the country down, i would assume he would get the same 8 week banned as Parisse.

Agree with most posts. Bakkies incident is stupid, and should be ignored. Burger, can **** off for all i care. Proved everything i have been saying about him this year.

Only 8 weeks no chance. Parisse got 8 because it was "reckless but not intentional"
As eye-gouges go this was a doozy and he will get 12-18 week ban at least

Not so sure about that Lekso. Many B&I players got TIA'ed (This Is Africa), I'll be surprised if we see both props or centres playing next week.

What Botha did was technically illegal, and it is not allowed precisely because of how dangerous it is for the player over the ball. He is one dirty f***er though, Oh **** we are being destroyed at scrumtime, I know, I'll go and seriously injure their tighthead :toss:

I feel Bakkies suspension is a bit harsh, but 8 weeks for Burger isn't enough he's a real thug and doesn't deserve to be on a rugby field.

Thats half your guys one eyed problem he punches Bekker in the nuts and it is funny! If that was a Bok it would be unacceptable. To define it for you it was cheap dirty and dangerous. Same reason why Julian white pumped him.
