Top 6 vs bottom 6. Can't see any surprises tbh.

More excited about Glos v Sale than England v South Africa.

Given everything that happened at the end of last season, atmosphere's going to be fantastic.

EDIT: Bath vs Harlequins televised tonight. Here are the teams (BBC):

Bath: Abendanon; Eastmond, Rokoduguni, Banahan, Biggs; Donald, Claassens; Beech, Mears, Perenise; Hooper (capt), Attwood; Ovens, Mercer, Taylor.
Replacements: Sharman, Cotter, Palma-Newport, Day, Caldwell, Skuse, McMillan, Cuthbert.

Harlequins: Williams; Monye, Hopper, Turner-Hall, Smith; Evans, Dickson; Lambert, Gray, Collier; Kohn, Robson; Guest, Wallace, Easter (capt).
Replacements: Buchanan, Marfo, Sinckler, Browne, Trayfoot, Burns, Clegg, Stegmann.

Bath are missing James, Louw, Fearns, Wilson and Skirving in the pack, and don't seem to have the strongest depth to cope with this. Should be a comfortable Quins victory.

Also, looking at the Tigers team, great to see Hawkins back playing in the Premiership. It's sad that Calum Clark got back before Hawkins, but at least he's made a recovery. And also good to see Tait in the Premiership again.

20 minutes gone and an energetic game at The Rec....

I know, I know I have it in for Donald but is it me again seeing him the weak link in a Bath team that, after the first 5 minutes, are now murdering Quins to be 3 all...wait about to go 3-6 down!!?

.

Hawkins started the season then broke his finger. Heaven forbid tabloid assumption clouds judgement...

Anyway...........

The Irish commentator has just described Donald as "immaculate" having scored 7 out of 8 reasonable easy kicks and just as he said it, Donald was charged down and only just avoided a try as the in goal area is so short at the The Rec............that being said, Quins probably thrown away 10/20 points and Bath are ahead 18-15 and deservedly.....despite the ubiqitous Donald !!

Edit....Bath squeak it and Ieaun Evand makes Donald MoM so what do I know!!

Wow, nothing like a tryless game :p

Guess it's hard to go against your player who scored all your points, regardless of whether or not they were poor in other areas, unless they were tragic.

Donald was awarded motm before a ball was kicked. Typical sky.

Considering how he was lambasted on The Rugby Club, a Sky show, I find that hard to believe. Especially as they also faun over Evans, and Matt "B&I Lion" Banahan.

Result of the night is the Worcester one!
Doesn't exactly sound a thriller, winning 12 - 3, but that's a good result for them, and a terrible one for Sarries, who would've wanted a LBP, at least, if they're aiming for 1st/2nd.

Arsenal would be my favorite team in the premiership to be honest.

I don't like all the flak Wenger is taking at the moment though...

Did you miss the blatantly scripted commentary ore something?

Great result for worcester Semisi taulava was a rock, saracens just arn't good enough to compete with the best.

Never seen a more biased referee in my life, than in this Gloucester vs Sale game.
They said he's only 23 or 24 or something, and it really shows that he's very inexperienced. Might as well give the shed a bag full of whistles for all he's worth.
Called Charlie Amesbury back from a nailed on try....to award Sale a penalty? Crazy.

Not doing ourselves any favours though, discipline is effing terrible, scrum no better - though we're at least retaining our own ball now that the referee's clocked on to Murphy dropping his bind at each and every scrum.

They had a lovely shot of a kid in the shed, must've been only 10yrs old at most, screaming abuse/making "lewd hand gestures" at the Sale lineout - I'm no lip reader but the words he was using would make a sailor blush.

Bad decision from the ref, but no way was that a nailed on try. Ball wasn't even in his hands, and the time it takes Sharples to get 10m whilst in full sprint is silly.

More worrying for Sale imo is that Wood and Knight are on the bench, and they're widely regarded as our "scrummaging props".

It bounced into his hands as the whistle went.
Maybe it wasn't a 100% try, but I think he would've slid over if Sharples had made the tackle, and if not then there were two Sale players closing in, so one of those would've gone over as it was only Sharples there.

Luke Pierce, perchance? Heard he is a bag of dicks.

Did anybody see that break from Wade!? Bloody incredble. Tell me he's not ready for international rugby...
