No doubt it's controversial. Had he not been a public figure would he have got a custodial sentence? Is it sufficient his reputation has been ruined for the rest of his life and he's received and probably won't hand back any salary pays for from BBC license fee payers?

You're completely right that's how it is but I think it's ****** up to be honest. I disagree with your drug lord v drug user comparison as well as the whole point is that there's no way you should get a suspended sentence if you've got child porn on your phone. That, to me, is worlds apart from some crack head smoking a pipe.
