Apparently Trump is talking in court in the same way he does on social media. He's really too stupid to know when to keep his mouth shut, thankfully for the rest of us. It's about time he faced consequences for his actions. Nobody else would be allowed to do what he is doing. He's flat out lying under oath.

And it's different from cancel culture how?
It's the same phenomenon. To people who accept responsibility for what they say and so, it's consequence culture. To people who think that they should be allowed to say and do what they want with inpugnity, it's cancel culture.

It's a shame our politicians don't face consequences for their actions like Trump.

The judge is apparently close to dealing with him as he's really ******* him off. He's been on the stand for 2 hours and just rambles and says irrelevant crap. Apparently he knows he's lost and is just adding colour to It all.

He hired as his CFO Weisselberg who admitted in his deposition that he doesn't know what GAAP is because he never did the American accountancy exams. GAAP is Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for those not in the industry and basically means that the valuations of his properties must be on a prepared true and fair basis.

The only one who are hacks are Trump, his sons and those who he hired to do his bidding. How he's gotten away with it for so long beggars belief.

Someone pointed out on the radio, all this condemnation of the Pro-Palestine March on Saturday 11th of November, as it's Armistice Day, but not condemning that the London Lord Mayor's Parade is also occuring in the same day.

It's as if focusing on the Pro-Palestine parade helps a particular agenda

Never even heard of that before, tbf - are they likely to clash with people at remembrance services?

The issue isn't people marching on that day, it's the likelihood of violence and vandalism
I'd never heard of it either.

Apparently it starts @11AM on 11th November, where the Pro-Palestine March starts @12

The majority of condemnation of the Pro-Palestine March is because it will conflict with Rememberance Events, obviously some people have suggested there'll be violence etc. People calling for it to be postponed due to the conflict with Rememberance

The Lord Mayor's parade is based on or been on going for hundreds of years. Not sure why anyone would condemn it taking place.

I don't think it's an agenda at all. It's the Police wanting to avoid it all kicking off. People are arguing it's free speech, right to march etc. Yet i doubt many said the same when marches they disagreed with were banned.

Probably the only good thing is the phased banning of smoking.

Nothing on e-scooters so as is and private riders will continue to flout the law and police only get involved if there's a serious collision. Apparently there are over 1m in private hands zipping along on our roads and pavements. Talk about kicking the problem down the road.
