A Political Thread pt. 2

So Israel tell civilians to evacuate an area, only to then attack the area they told them to evacuate to... They have also repeatedly hit refugee camps. Once or twice may be an unfortunate accident but this is repeated on top of starving the entire country of food, water, medicine and fuel. Let's call this what it is, this is terrorism.
It's also a war crime.

What do you mean our laws have loop holes for the wealthy? I never would have guessed.

Well at least no rules, I mean laws, were broken. Always the line of the morally correct.

Armistice Day - that day when we despair at the futility of war, and hope/pray for peace in our time is absolutely the wrong time for a peaceful protest asking for peace and despairing at the futility of war...
Somehow...

Does he think he's in Dr Strangelove?

And of course Cruella is all over this, wielding her (and the police's) new powers to prevent legitimate peaceful protest.

NB: Apparently the organisers have already pointed out that it starts well after the Armistice events have finished, and goes nowhere near the Cenotaph.

Funny how American politicians have coined the phrase 'bad actors in the region' while pretending that Israel isn't one of them.

Poppy Fetish Day is sacred and no one is allowed another opinion other than to to fancy dress as one.

This is slightly tongue in cheek I fully support poppy and observing silence on the 11th (I find the Sunday stuff Quasi religious but respect those who observb).

But when I see places decorating stuff in poppy's and a militant stance on when they must be worn and by who. Yeah we've lost the entire point of it. And it's getting increasingly worse.

Government officials have drawn up deeply controversial proposals to broaden the definition of extremism to include anyone who "undermines" the country's institutions and its values, according to documents seen by the Observer.

The new definition, prepared by civil servants working for cabinet minister Michael Gove, is fiercely opposed by a cohort of officials who fear legitimate groups and individuals will be branded extremists.

"Aims to undermine or OVERTURN" surely this loose phrasing anyone who seeks to change the voting system or highlight corruption could be branded an extremist...

This government dares to make claims they are fighting "woke" and fighting for free speech then literally attempt to implement the most Draconian anti free speech laws in decades, probably centuries.

How long before they find a convenient way to delay the election? I can see them trying it.
