Yeah, he's far too lazy to do any sort of prep work.
Prefers something off the cuff like HIGNFY, or in print, where he can put in 10 minutes work here and there, and leave the proof reading to someone else.

Usual stuff though, it's very easy to make these grand claims but they never follow up with the practicality of making it actually work.

Better late than never. Still, got to fund more police officers but also ensure they vet them to make sure they are not racist, misogynistic, homophobic etc.
Still, I am not optimistic.

It's the desperate attempts of the Home Secretary just like their "stop the boats" slogan. WTF have they been for the last 13 years with this. My parents have been burgled twice in the last 4 years and likely by the same person. One where they were downstairs in the house at the time.
Result: Sweet FA. Here's your crime reference number. Pass to your insurance to claim replacements.
My old schoolmate who is a DS I met for a pint last year cries of lack of resources and that burden of proof is higher than the so called beyond a reasonable doubt threshold. I got taught at law school ( >75%). Apparently for them the finger prints are more unique than DNA evidence and identifying the perpetrator.
Even then they wear gloves so no finger prints left at the scene of burglaries. Leave a footprint? Get rid of any shoes instead. DNA left for murders instead.
CPS will just reject it.

You couldn't make it up. It's the Tories who have imposed spending cuts on the police as a result of Truss crashing the economy, Brexit & other factors and yet Braverman is telling them to widen their investigation coverage. She is the worst Home secretary in my lifetime and she's had some pretty stiff competition in the last 13 years.

Carnage with the air traffic system going down causing hundreds of cancellations and huge delays. One of the kids is waiting to fly home from Italy with her husband and two little ones, but not getting any information at all - they're in for a rough time. Some airports completely out of food etc.

Apparently fixed but it'll take time to work through the backlog of delays. BA cancelling some flights. What a nightmare!

Not really Thursday's pretty good. I got ****** by snow back in Febuary travelling back from Canada (I got lucky merely 36 hours late). Reality is once the flights are hit by massive disruption the logistical nightmare takes days to fix for all airlines.
I'm just hoping it's all sorted by Monday next week for my flights back out there.

On Monday, the Home Secretary advocated this policy, the next day, former party leader Iain Duncan Smith said he's happy for people to vandalise ULEZ cameras in his constituency. You couldn't make it up.
The tories are finished. Brexit made them split into loads of different ideologically driven parties pretending to be just one party. My biggest issue with this, is them dragging us all down with them. We never wanted or asked for that.
Speaking of tories...
This man is definitely one. Not sure which fraction of it though. Maybe Cameron's part.

With Starmers lead in the polls and if that continues whilst in power he's never going shoot himself in the foot.
Equaly he's rowed back on so many things, tuition fees, wealth taxes etc this isn't a surprise.
