This is still the thing I will never figure out. Why do people still accept the view that we could have had our cake and eaten it? The whole negotiation process was about trying to get all the benefits of the EU with none of the drawbacks. It was never possible as it would have lead to the break up of the EU. I get why David Frost says it, but why do people genuinely believe that there was this sunny hinterland that we could have reached if the EU hadn't got in our way?

Like with any so called conspiracy theories when people are sold kernels of truth, packaged up in lies, which appeals to them and tapped into their grievances.

Failure of the stay campaign to really drive home the benefits of the EU. Wales is a classic example who voted leave when they got so much by way of EU subsidies.

I've said it before but people are lazy and make no effort to check what they are voting for. They allow themselves to be duped by three word slogans like "Take back control" or whatever appears on their Tory sponsored Youtube suggested videos feed . We may as well lower the voting age and let teenagers vote given the amount of adult muppets we have in this country. Our political system is broken and too much of the electorate aren't fit to vote.

It's simply education and those in power are happy for people not to be fully educated. On top Britain has a very poor attitude towards school and education on the whole, especially compared with other countries.

Our system is broken and those in power and with money are happy to keep the status quo. Those without are either powerless or don't realise how they are being ****** over.

Doesn't tell the full story, checks required to get 60+ are more stringent than the 18+ card.

That doesn't mean I support voter ID in the slightest. And we should ask the question why the 18+ checks weren't considered good enough. Just don't like full information not being out there.
