She hasn't gone too far away, just showing up on BBC on Sunday instead.

But yeh, also prefer Chris Mason.

What a shambles. They can't even say what type of vote it was.

I hope there is disciplinary action. The fallout of a discredited PM disciplining 2 former discredited PMs and a further hopeless ex leader could be spectacular. Presumably that would be via the Chief Whip who may, or may not still be in office and is also on the list of abstainers although who knows as it sounds like the tech wasn't fully working.

I think.

A GE really is the only way. If the Tories get rid of Truss and put Sunak or Hunt in charge the division will just continue as ERG will never get behind them. They are a rotten and divided party who have nobody to unite them. Broad church my arse.

Graham Brady Klaxon

They'll go through another leadership contest but they should be putting the party under Truss to the electorate.

Truss asked for the meeting with Brady because she wants to 'keep in touch with the mood of the party'. If she's interested in the mood of the country then she can do us all a favour and jog on.

Beth Rigby saying its definitely a resignation on Sky News.

Who ever takes over really needs to call a general election, I like our process we don't elect a president but the last 5 weeks has completely wrecked that assumption.

Wahoo!
