Yeah but is that because it's too late (in which case they are right) or are they fuckheads who say lockdown don't work (in which case they'll vote for even more deranged party). That's the problem.

The later unfortunately but I guess it might at least split the right vote somewhat.
 
Staggering that it takes 2 senators who are proven criminals supported by a president who is a proven criminal for Democrats in Georgia to potentially just about squeak a victory...

Republicans in the USA just have no integrity left.

They technically have the senate as Harris as VP can cast the deciding votes in splits 50/50 they also have Congress.

It means if they get all their senators to agree to support legislation there are no barriers to the Republican's stopping them.

It was major issue for Obama who could do duck all for 6 years because he didn't have the senate and McConnell shows no interest in working with him.

It would mean Democrats control the presidency, house and have an even split in the senate (with the vice president having the deciding vote in a 50/50 split). It means Republicans would have significantly reduced ability to obstruct Biden.

Problem is there are at least 74 million Trumpanzees, with the vast majority believing the election was stolen. Trump and his supporters aren't going away even after Biden is inaugurated and whatever the result in Georgia with the Senate race. America is Turning in on itself and splitting between ultra conservatives, Moderates/liberals and the disenfranchised and the splits are only going to get worse IMO.
 
The weird bit in Georgia is the 1% of voters who split their votes.

Nope voted for Warnock (D) and Perdue (R) if you note both races are about 1% off in difference. So its very likely those voters ticked D in the first box and R in the second.

Like at this stage America is divided there is a gulf between Democrats and Republicans but you actually say I can be arsed to vote but not make a decision.


We see exactly the same phenomena here you just rarely see the data this raw by essentially running the same race, for the same job, on the same day, on the same ballot paper.
