A Political Thread pt. 2

Well, I've written to my MP - it won't make a difference, but if a few hundred of us do, he might decide his future is better served by doing something (actually, he might, he was VERY ****** off with Cummings breaking lockdown rules, but was also very much "let's wait and see what the Met decide" on BJ).

Anyone ****** off about this, really should write to their MP - even non-tory MPs can have their say in Parliament, whilst Labour / LibDem etc can call a motion of no confidence if they refuse to go.
My MP :(

The code is probably not going to do anything except further focus the public he won't resign.

Can parliament publicly censure him? It might not have any real weight but forces a commons vote on the matter. Same could they still suspend him? It won't pass but a suspension of 10 days could trigger a by-election through a recall opetition.

Just thinking of potential way to get Tory Mps to have a backbone.

I'm starting to get truly disgusted with Tory MPs who are failing their constituents and the country spectacularly. Just heard on the news that they are backing Boris because they think he is still their best chance of getting re-elected and hanging onto their seats in order to maintain the privileges associated with the job.

My version I'm not holding out any hope he said **** all over Sue Gray Pt. 1. I did manage not to swear.

I have written to you before on this matter and had deafening silence. So I ask you again at what point do you take action as a MP within the Conservative party to send a letter to the 1922 committee. Huge restrictions were put on our daily lives which the vast majority of the public understood and there were daily briefings given by number 10 explaining them. Why are simply those residing in Downing Street above those laws and why should I now follow any law set by this government?

Look in her eyes and tell her you never bend the rules.

Yeah I've had a 'sense of humour breakdown' on it if you try to defend Johnson in anyway I no longer give a **** about your opinion about anything.

Someone found their backbone.

Another lord though. Not a sitting MP. Honestly it says everything about the party that they would rather have a criminal in charge than risk losing their seat.
