Nevada draggin their heels - for a state who's entire image/industry is based around casinos/numbers/COUNTING you'd think they'd be more on the ball
They're counting they just stopped announcing the count, the idea is to alleviate pressure on counters and let them sleep. Its frustrating but nothing really bad going on.

Or they are taking the skim....

Think Trump coming out yesterday with talk of fraud and legal action is an admission that the election is now lost. Can see this dragging through the courts like the Bush v Gore election which from memory took weeks to resolve.

Johnson will announce a deal with Europe next week, and rub out all his red lines as he needs to have a success - even pyrrhic (The BoE forecasts put the UK at 2x Global GDP fall- 11% in 2020) but looks as though Biden will win even after Trump's tantrums. Johnson will use Foreign Policy and Climate Change Conference next year to get closer to Biden. It won't help the Premiership get back to normal any time soon though!

Yeah, I just saw something on socials about the the republican senator(? governor? whoever runs the state) not wanting to be the one who hands Biden the victory so delayed the announcement until 9am, rather than last night

2000 was a tad diffrent for a couple of reasons, it was one state and the margin was literally **** all, this led to huge arguments amounts what was and wasn't valid ballots. In the end the supreme court stopped the recount.

Since then most states have massively sorted out their game in terms of making sure ballots are not disputed. Plus the margins are not as narrow as they were back then.

Whilst there have been conspiracies (see sharpiegate ths USA's version of use a pen not a pencil) there has been no actual evidence or reporting of wrong doing. Nobody really knows what the lawsuits are going to argue except PA which is about late ballots and the supreme court has refused to hear an appeal twice, after the States (PA's) have said they count twice. Each indivdual states is allowed to make it own rules about how the vote in conducted so it would take a lot for the supreme court to actually get involved and require actual inproiotry and evidence of such.

That's not the impression I'd got. Nevada accepts mail-in ballots until last night.
They went as deep into Wednesday morning as caffeine could keep them; then went home for sleep etc; and didn't bother bringing counters back in until they've received all the ballots they were going to count.
So they shold be counting again now, but not announcing until they're basically done - the later is presumably even more important given the demonstrations outside counting centres elsewhere - it may be thought that drip feeding encourages these.

Pretty sure Gore conceded "for the good of the country" before it reached the supreme court

One of the news channels replayed his concession speech yesterday, very gracious, presidential even...don't think we can expect the same this time

Likely to be the Governor of the state who is the equivalent of the State's President, rather than Senator. That's how I understand it.
