2nd Test: South Africa v Lions

This deeper, wider backline I was alluding to earlier, seems to be exactly what SA have switched to and is now causing what could be the demise of the tour.

Shaun Edwards is crying.

Penalty Lions. What do they do here? ROG looks to be going for goal.
Dear me. One more chance if this misses or if it doesn't, but we'd have had excellent ground if we'd gone to touch.

STEPHEN JONES!!!! YES!

From a neutral standpoint, Kearny & Stephen Jones have been immense in this game.

O'GARA YOU ABSOLUTE TOSSER.

Moron. Absolutely pathetic. I can't believe it. This is going to be a draw at any rate...

Don't blame O'Gara myself. That penalty was crap. He never tried to tackle the player or use a shoulder. Pretty bullshit penalty. I feel that penalty was a bit of robbery for the Lions. SA didn't make the call so don't blame them. Stupid reffing really after a pretty good reffing effort.

There you go Irishmen. Your 'star' flyhalf has cost us 10 points, and the series. Well done ROG.

Onto a positive note: this game was a classic, again. Typical though. Absolutely gutted. I'm beginning to hate watching South Africa. :(

*sniff* what do ya say. Fair play South Africa, really dug it out of the bag. I'm pretty speechless to be honest, myabe if we hadn't lost Bod, Roberts etc. but maybes don't win tests. Shame but congrats again SA.

Yet more proof that O'Gara is as useful as a chocolate fireguard sometimes.

Ronan O'-f***ing-Gara.
World class isn't he, boys?
World class c***.[/b]

Thats a bit rough. Being emotional, annoyed, yeah fine. That loss doesn't all rest on his shoulders. It was a fairly average call really. I think he's going to be made a scapegoat here.

Can't see him getting over that to be honest, could destroy him. Lads I've never been his biggest fan either, but there ain't no point getting angry, no matter how bad we feel he is going through a thousand times worse.

At least any doubters of whether the Lions are still viable will have been silenced today.

A fine exciting game from two quality sides. Thanks to all nations for a spectacle!
