Think I'll reserve judgement on the 50/50 calls until I see who the coaches are. Having someone in the room to push your case at the selection meetings is pretty key based on previous tours.

On another note I see that the squad is being announced at the O2 arena with the captain being brought on stage. 2700 tickets on sale although I suspect most of us squidges will stay in our basements and save whatever fortune they are charging.

Andy Farrell will obviously know Bomb has been in the Welsh camp last few weeks and therefore the Welsh lads will have been exposed to the highest, most elite form of training and coaching than any professional has ever been exposed to in the history of sport.

FH is interesting because I think Russell is the only experienced fly half playing relatively well. Marcus Smith has experience but has been dropped by England whether fairly or unfairly. No one is playing well in Wales at FH. Finn Smith, Prendergast, Crowley etc...are all pretty young and inexperienced.

If you go with M.Smith and Russell for experience then who else?

Back row's going to be hugely competitive but I've been impressed with some of the stuff I've seen from Ritchie.

In my opinion, Ritchie, as opposed to Darge, was standout against us on the weekend.

Darge was unlucky to go off injured so early against Wales but agree Ritchie has been excellent in the last two including the game at Twickenham.

Matt Fagerson was also very good after he replaced Darge. It's always the tight 5 replacements that cause the Scottish pack to struggle in the last 20-30 mins.
