2nd Test: South Africa v Lions

Steyn was outside his 22 taking that kick... Ugh.

Jenkins off. Blood injury. Let's see a big game from Sherri then.

Adam Jones off aswell. :( Uncontested scrums, now. Bloody hell.

Oh for God's sake, since when did the offside line exist after a charge down?

At the point a charge down is made, if a player from the defending team is in front of the player who made the charge down, he is offside. If the charge down is made and his team mates are behind him, all of those team mates can go for the ball ahead of the player who charged down.

Yep he certainly is.

Another Lions penalty. Tut tut Matfield. Hard one. Jones really needs it. 'Boks have had all the ball and no points. Would be a huge blow for them.

19 - 8. YES!

What a remarkable effort. The Lions game plan on defence is amazingly sound and resilient! I don't know that South Africa have any chance unless they set themselves deeper and wider on attack and really pour on the pace. They just don't seem to be able to crack an egg, let alone this defensive pattern.

Thanks. Really thanks.

This is going to be a fight to the finish.Who's got the legs and the heart? The Lions need to have a siege mentality on defence again and play for field position. Then they can rip apart SA in their half. They look a little nervous though now.

Burger offside. ROG should get this. It's pathetically easy. C'mon Lions... Weather the storm...

18 - 22.
That was Jones sorry.

Burgers played a reckless game, with his brain switched off for 50% of the time. He's been like a 16th player for the Lions for about 15 mins of this game. The Lions need some passion, precision and controlled aggression for 10mins more!
