2nd Test: South Africa v Lions

Stupid error from BOD. Habana could have been under the posts easily there.

Penalty 'Boks. Hm, Bread of Heaven being sung in the background. Nice to hear. Steyn... misses. Sheridan on. Jenkins off - blood bin.

Lions have started brilliantly, but their momentum has been nullified at the 24min mark. Someone needs to take the upper hand now. If it's the Lions then SA could be in real trouble.

Wellies you legend.

Fitzgerald working superbly on the wing. Work of genius picking him it seems.

Stephen Jones doing what was needed. A try wasn't certain there. 16-5 now. A try for the boks is needed. One for the Lions going into the break will probably kill off the Boks.

Rob Kearney I'm speechless

Lee who?[/b]
Yeh, on any normal day I'd castrate you for such a remark, but Rob has been a revelation today... Another sublime take as I type this.

Exactly the tonic SA needed at HT. Steyn with a monster penalty. 16 - 8, though. More of that in the second half, and SA will be embarrassed.

That penalty has made a difference going into the break. 16-8 Lions. If the Lions can't pull out that performance again in the second half, they are done. My gut feeling is that they'll do almost as well again, but not quite. Still winning, but it'll be much closer. I personally feel Matfield has been a mongrel in places and he'll need to be stood up to in the second half.

Jacobs doing much better in defence this week - up very fast on BOD, stopping the little pop passes.

SA really don't got it, but Lions aren't executing them. Penalty before half time steadies it. Will be veeery close.

Jones playing well at 10.

Jones in the scrum popping Bok lids!

3-6 month ban for Burger I hope, considering it was almost definitely intentional. I'll be angry if it's anything less.

Great half of rugby though, hoping for much more of the same.
