Speed difference is a killer, put the effort in to work space out wide but then the break is just ran down easily

And that's a wrap. NZ women just a bit cooler than Canada in the final.

If they really want to make the Olympics the pinnacle of 7s they should extend the format. Best of 3 knockouts from the QFs in a more drawn out, 7 day tournament or something.

Doesn't feel like France were the biggest achievers in the sport this year. Argentina won a season long series, France won a regularly structured event at the right time. (The NZ women obviously earned both)
