[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 3: England vs Italy (26/02/2017)

That's ****ity sums up that half!

Why is there no beer in the house!

Italy are absolutely abusing the sport by abusing this rule, ruined rugby. The IRB will change the law with immediate affect because of this, Connor O'Shea is a ****ing scumbag..

They're not the ones to invent it and its well out of order to say that about O'Shea because they've been cleverer than us.

But surely people have seen the Chiefs doing this and realised it was coming up here sooner or later.

You don't need to have seen this specific tactic before to know how to deal with teams not committing players to the ruck - you pick and go through the middle until they commit player to it.

Can't imagine a worse first half than that. Still see us winning comfortably but it's been embarrassing so far.

Connor oshea getting the plaudits for dave rennies work hahaha tbh though isnt there a rule regarding sportsmanship that this breaks? I thought thats how they approaches it in super rugby

75% chance that Hartley and Hughes think the ball is dead when it hits post.

The no ruck is so easy to attack, England did it for a few phases and then care decided he wanted to touch the ball and **** it up.

I think Jones will be furious with the senior forwards.

Utterly culpable for not reacting (or seemingly aware of how to react) to what Italy are doing.

Even Poite was getting irritated with them not understanding it.

Samsung ad on ITV during the break. Samsung and England. United in self destruction.

Not able to watch the game but it sounds dreadful.

Here's the facts though : if by the sound of it no rucks are being formed because Italy don't committ to the ruck and it's taken England's leaders 30 minutes to work it out, then they should all be got rid of. Seriously, this is not the first time it's happened.

Re. Italy you can't blame them for the existence of the rule but it's a fairly ****ty way to take the game.
