[2016 Rugby Championship] South Africa v Argentina (20/08/2016)

We lost 27-0 to France.... at home.
I think expectations are pretty low from our side. Then again, that's when we generally shine.

It appears the confidence of the Argentinian rugby support is a bit low considering that home loss to France (whom the Pumas actually beat quite regularly), the 'unexpected' bad performance of the Jaguares in SR & missing a key influential players such as Ayerza, Imhoff & Moroni.

I will not sugar-coat it any way in that the Boks are still hurting from that Durban result last year and will be keen to make it up to their home fans.

Still hoping for a competitive match though and hoping to see good play coming from both sides as we know the world is keeping a keen eye on RWC's semi-finalists.

I can but hope that the Pumas do not become to the so called rugby championship what Italy is to the 6 Nations......

However, the silly season is over and
Rugby is back with some Internationals to wet the appetite and the Top 14 to follow this weekend....,!!

I wouldn't read too much into it though. Hard to make sense of it as one team turned up (for its last game of the season) and the other didn't.

A win or loss to the current French team is no yardstick of anything.

Argentina is much better than that. They shd be in a different mind frame for the RC.

Sad that players are look they are about to cry during the anthem and Zuma looks likes he's struggling to remember the words

/back to rugby

Pumas doing alright, but again that defensively frailty we've seen with the Jaguares. Sigh, and the indiscipline.

Habana loves a dive. He should be at the Olympics jumping off the boards.

That was ridiculous piece of rugby from Habana but good game this after rubbish this morning!!!

That is a howler by Mapoe. Signs Springboks are willing to be a bit more adventurous, a shame it wasn't rewarded.

Justice that penalty as winger was five yards in front when 9 kicked it!!
