[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 2: Wales vs. Scotland (13/02/2016)

To me it look like Jamie Roberts knocked it back into Scottish players fingers, that makes Davies back onside

Fair. But that one annoyed me as it was a loss of 50m

Wales need to change their tactics and inject some energy in the defence. Scotland making easy easy yards and keeping the scoreboard ticking over.

I feel the kicking game isn't working effectively. Other than the try you've lost a few metres.

How did the TMO miss Davies in front of the ball for the Welsh try

Which one? Came off Scottish hands last I think, so Gareth onside. I missed the replays of where JD was at the kick, but looked ok to me.

Half time and the Jocks are good for their lead. Great passion and the Dragon appears to be sleeping.
Gatland will be giving them the hairdryer treatment about now and what are the Welsh loose forwards doing at the breakdown?
Scotlands looses are outplaying them at the breakdown, that Kiwi opened Hardie is having a magic game.

Could be right, surprised it wasn't even looked at as he was definitely in front of the kicker and in front of the Roberts/Taylor coming together. Thought we were very harshly done by on a couple of the mauls AWJ and Charteris "disrupted".

I'll agree with the fact that Wales are relying on the aerial game a little too much. It's choking a decent backline.

It's been a bit more than a few. There were one or two more sets of phases where holes were appearing. It doesn't feel like business as usual.

I expect Wales to come out for the second half like a team possessed

Yeah, interesting maul interpretations! Suspect we'll fall away in second half. If Welsh fringe defence doesn't improve we've got a chance though! Wonder how much of the difference is down to absence of Lydiate.

I can't quite believe what I am watching with Wales. They need to wake up and fast as this isn't an acceptable level at all.

All credit to Scotland for taking their points when they've been there so far.

Average game from two average teams......

Not sure why everyone, yet again, having a go at the ref?

It is Clancy for gawds sake with Lacey on the line!!!

What do you expect?

Come on Cotter- hardly enthralling for the neutral!!!

To be fair to Jonathan Davies snr, for everyone who says that he's biased towards Wales, that excitement and applause he had for Duncan Taylor closing the gap on Tom James shows he's actually quite fair.

Scottish composure and basic skills always let them down. Even the ones who are from overseas! So frustrating.

those defensive lines from Scotland are all over the place. very poor.

Wales tested the inside switch in the red zone, now its worked twice. I'm happy Wales are looking to adapt the tactics as the game goes on. That's pleasing but much of the game was very shaky.

Wales at last showing their class - said Wales by 15 and so it should be!!

Good try by North but where ere the Scots defence?!!
