[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 2: Wales vs. Scotland (13/02/2016)

No doubt now that Biggar, at the moment, is far and away the best 10 in the NH!!

wow....the last pass.....

fairly entertaining. wales deserved to win.

Considering Sexton was the best 10 on the pitch both times they have shared a pitch in 2016 there is big doubt...

Poor second half from Scotland, game was there to be won and inaccuracies lost it for them... Haven't heard that before...

...

My thoughts:

1. Barclay must be kicking himself that he didn't pass it to Hogg on the inside;
2. Wales' first try did turn out to be decisive when Gareth Davis was offside when he Roberts knocked down the ball; how did TMO/Ref both miss this? and
3. Laidlaw is a ungracious as ever when Scotland lose.

Different day, same ****e. The most depressing thing about it is the sheer predicability off being able to say at half time that Wales were going to win. Scotland weren't enough points ahead of Wales at that point to hang on against a team that always has a stronger second half. As usual, too many unforced errors and very occasionally sheer amateurish lapses in concentration from Scottish players. Including Laidlaw.

Laidlaw is an embarrassment, although not as embarrassing as that last pass.

Scotland are just a couple of minor fixes away from being a decent team: 1) How to catch a ball. 2) How to hold onto said ball once it has been caught.

Entertaining, but poor quality game.

Scots don't believe they can win. They stopped playing when the game was in the melting pot.

Huge difference in the chat from both sides. Warburton, Biggar, AWJ, etc were constantly in the referees ear and tbh honest they swayed his decisions in several areas. I didn't see one Scottish player doing the same.

Really? Does it?

That will just make at an accidental offside

Genuinely interested how this stacks up in the rules. The pundits were much afluff about it but I take what they say with a pinch of salt. The ball is kicked forward, Roberts challenges, but a Scot subsequently plays the ball and my brain's telling me that's play on with no offside line. There's no ruck, maul or tackle to worry about it's open play?

Can someone dissect this one according to the rule book?

To be fair to Laidlaw, any average person would act in a similar way if they have a camera thrown in their face when they are glum. I'm happy to see captains show a bit of emotion after a game rather than have them media trained into robots.

Another heartbreaking result, when the **** are we going to win!!?

It's time for Vern, Jonathan Humphreys and Mr O'Halleron to GO!!!

All this pish about progress isn't good enough for me and even more ridiculous is 0 wins in 9!!

Any other coach would have got sack with a record as poor as that!!

I'm sick of putting up with this pish every match!!

If the scottish player intentionally touches it Davies is not offside, since he pretty clearly goes to catch it and he was unable to it should be a try
Law 11.3
