[2015 RWC] Warm Up Match: Ireland vs Scotland (15/08/2015)

Well, wee Ian is at 10. Anything could happen*.

*except a disciplined, controlled tactical masterclass from the starting Irish out-half.

Ah sure, it's that or Paddy "5/10" Jackson again eh?

Anyway, nice to see Conan handed a cap. I can't see him making the squad, but he's had a serious season with Leinster and definitely has a big future with the national team after this tournament.

Strong enough team. Kilcoyne, Tuohy, Fitzgerald, D'arcy, Zebo and DK are the players who's performance will matter the most in terms of squad selection so will watching them closely. Happy for Conan but hard to feel he wouldn't be there if not for TOD's misfortune, though many players have of course gotten their break through injury.

Expect a solid win.

Surprised Ross is starting again. And why not start R Kearney and Henshaw too? They need game time.

Do Ireland or Joe Schmidt want to beat the S**T out off Scotland or something. They're really going all out with this one just about. While for us first off all, Why is Blake starting over John Barclay, Secondly why is Jackson at 15. Lastly why isn't Stuart McInally given a chance he's been good for Edinburgh and he is a good leader on the pitch too.

I know - he wasn't exactly standing out last week.

But it could be Ian 2/10 or Ian 9/10!

Very. Really thought Moore and Furlong would have been given more game time.

[Although I do appreciate that Rosser is a man that always needs a few games himself to get into the groove.]

Both Moore and Furlong are considered not fit enough to start.

never mind i got it

Scrappy opening 15, we finally keep ball for a few phases. Consistently make ground and Henry burrows over.

The Irish are good at the ruck, creates great platform for their half backs..

Scotland are doing a little better then i thought, Bad in attack. looks decent in defence. Still don't think this is a Scotland win.
