I couldn't disagree with this less. You think over training got Rhys Webb in that awkward position over the ball that tore his ACL and ankle apart? You think over training made the Leigh Halfpenny's boots susceptible to slipping and tearing his ACL? You think over training caused Scott Williams to smash his knee in an off the ball piece of contact with Barritt? You think over training cause Tom Wood to kick Liam Williams in the head?Liam Williams gone now, Gordon D'Arcy's opinion on Welsh injuries
"Everyone is talking about the Welsh boys and how unlucky they are with joint injuries. Now, this is just my opinion having played the game for my entire adolescent and adult life, it is not backed up by science; but I believe your body can only take so much punishment and for a certain amount of time before breaking down. The Welsh, in preparation for this World Cup, and Warren Gatland has said it, pushed their players to breaking point. Well, now they are breaking. Losing 16 per cent of their starting XV can’t be a coincidence. If it is then they are truly cursed."
Totally agree.
Injuries are part of the parcel mate. It's a contact sport. Sh*t happens. At times it happens more than others. Last world cup we had the same brutal camp beforehand and we no-one in our squad was required to be replaced due to injury.
