Well done Aussies! Brilliant game to prove to the SH that rugby is a great game without tries!!!
Hmm, we must have watched different games. That was extremely bland to watch. Welsh successfully snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Liam Williams gone now, Gordon D'Arcy's opinion on Welsh injuries
"Everyone is talking about the Welsh boys and how unlucky they are with joint injuries. Now, this is just my opinion having played the game for my entire adolescent and adult life, it is not backed up by science; but I believe your body can only take so much punishment and for a certain amount of time before breaking down. The Welsh, in preparation for this World Cup, and Warren Gatland has said it, pushed their players to breaking point. Well, now they are breaking. Losing 16 per cent of their starting XV can’t be a coincidence. If it is then they are truly cursed."
Totally agree.

That's an interesting stat Wouldn't have guessed that one he heh. There have now been 4 games in Rugby World Cup history where the game was decided by just penalties:
Australia - Samoa: 9-3 (1991 Group stage)
South Africa - England: 15-6 (2007 RWC final)
Australia - Ireland: 6-15 (2011 Group stage)
Australia - Wales: 15-6 (2015 Group stage)
Australia being involved in 3 of them.

So I'm going to say it now that referee was an absolute disgrace, after 2 yellow cards and god knows how many penalties on the 5 meter line should have been a penalty try, there is no interpretation the rules are simple. It's like watching Alan Rowland's in 2011 all over again. I am by no means impressed with the stupidity of Wales to constantly rely on forward play when we have backs good enough to rip a team apart when they are 13 men down!!!! We have an absolute mountain to climb with the likes of South Africa next and if these problems of tactics and stupidity are not fixed we deserve to be out of the world cup.
NO WAY you can blame the ref for that bud. You got 2 yellow cards, one of them very soft, AND STILL you couldn't score a try. Should have gone for the points. Pure idiocy.
You have Warburton to blame for not winning that one I think. I'm 100% sure Wales would have won in you took the points.

HA! If that was AB's, SA, Ireland, England and France or any other team they would all be saying it, yes Wales should have taken the points and then attacked as Oz were down to 13 men and that is pure idiocy but the rules are there. If a team even after 2 yellow cards and quite a few penalties is still infringing on the 5 meter line its a penalty try end of.
The players who let us down most were, Anscombe and Warburton. Anscombe kept coming out of position to play 10 and we are damn lucky Oz never took advantage of that. As for Warburton his decision making was appalling and to not use our backs when a team is 13 men down is just disgusting. I thought Wales were better than this and this proves we are not ready to win a world cup if this continues.
Hook should have gone to 13 or 12 and North on the wing instead of Cuthbert.
Jenkins should have been on the bench instead of Francis.
The infringement has to prevent a probable try from being scored. I never saw that situation arise.HA!
